Inclement Weather Information

Lake Stevens Daycare and Preschool will usually follow the Lake Stevens Public Schools regarding closures and late openings due to inclement weather. If Lake Stevens Daycare and Preschool is unable to open due to inclement weather, power outages, pandemic, State/Federal Mandated Closure, or Safety Concerns we will contact parents as necessary.

Arrival & Pickup

Parents are required to sign their child in and out daily, at the sign-in tablet at the entrance. Tap on your child’s class, follow your child’s picture, and click to sign in. A Brightwheel QR code can be used as your sign in by phone. Please make sure your children’s hands are washed before going into class, and that they are picked up before 6:00 p.m. See the parent handbook for more policies on pickup and arrival.

Visiting the Center

Parents are welcome to visit at any time during Operating Hours. We do ask that you be conscientious of nap time (see Daily Activities) and let us know if you are planning on coming.
